First of all, let me say how terrible it is when something like this happens, it doesn't make me happy to have to write an article like this. But secondly, and I have been saying this for over a decade now, as much as pastors and preachers in the Charismatic Church like to think they have the apostolic signs of miracle healing, they absolutely don't. Bishop Gerald O. Glenn, just two weeks ago, boasted about how 'people are healed' in his church, and that he didn't have to practice social distancing like everyone else.
"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." 1 Corinthians 13:8-10 (KJB)
Why? Because he said he was 'essential', and that he 'talks to God'. Guess that meant he could do whatever he wanted, and wouldn't get sick. Well, now Bishop Gerald O. Glenn is talking to God face to face since he died of coronavirus infection yesterday. So much for those 'healing lines' that Charismatics like to brag about so much, so much for the 'name it and claim it' Prosperity Gospel false teaching.
If you are a Charismatic preacher, where are all the healing lines? You who love to boast about laying hands on people and healing them of 'all manner of diseases', where are you guys now? Where is your 'God-given, miracle anointing'? You are not conducting 'healing services' because you are all frauds who promise people a healing, in exchange for a hefty 'seed faith' donation. The COVID-19 coronavirus has proved you all to be fakes and phonies you truly are. And guess what? The website for the church has been taken down, and their YouTube channel scrubbed clean of all content. This is what happens when false teachers listen to their own preaching.
The Coronavirus Is An Excellent Opportunity For The Faith Healers In The Charismatic Church To Show The Power Of God, So Why Aren't They Doing It?CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK IS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR FAITH HEALERS IN THE CHARISMATIC CHURCH TO SHOW THE POWER OF GOD, SO WHY AREN’T THEY DOING IT?

Charismatic Virginia pastor who defiantly held church service dies of coronavirus

FROM THE NEW YORK POST: In his last known in-person service on March 22, Bishop Gerald O. Glenn got his congregation at Richmond’s New Deliverance Evangelistic Church to stand to prove how many were there despite warnings against gatherings of more than 10 people.
“I firmly believe that God is larger than this dreaded virus. You can quote me on that,” he said, repeating it a second time to claps, saying that “people are healed” in his church.
Happily announcing he was being “controversial” by being “in violation” of safety protocols — with “way more than 10 people” at the church — he vowed to keep his church open “unless I’m in jail or the hospital.”
“I am essential,” he said of remaining open, adding, “I’m a preacher — I talk to God!”
On Sunday, his church announced “with an exceedingly sorrowful and heavy heart” that the pastor had died a week after being diagnosed with COVID-19. His wife, Marcietia Glenn, is also sick with the bug, with church members offering their prayers.
Their daughter, Mar-Gerie Crawley, told WTVR that her father initially dismissed his symptoms because he has a condition that often leads to fevers and infections.
She is now urging everyone to stay home.
“It becomes very real to you,” she told WTVR after her parents’ diagnoses. “I just beg people to understand the severity and the seriousness of this, because people are saying it’s not just about us, it’s about everyone around us.” READ MORE
