The EU, Emmanuel Macron and the New World Order.

The EU is in crisis and one man who is offering to lead the way out is France’s President Emmanuel Macron.  Is this significant?

The revival of an entity like the Roman Empire in the last days is implied in such passages as Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Revelation 17.  Revelation 17.11 speaks of five kings that have fallen (empires preceding the time when John wrote Revelation), one that is (the Roman Empire) and one that is to come (the revived Roman Empire of the last days’ prophecy).  Out of this entity the beast or antichrist will arise: ‘There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.’

One interpretation of prophecy is that the EU is the revived Roman Empire, bringing European nations together under the Treaty of Rome.  Its aim is to unite the nations of Europe to bring peace and prosperity in place of centuries of conflict between European nations.  Now the EU ideal is in deep trouble because of financial issues relating to the Euro and the Coronavirus pandemic.  Borders are going up, reversing the EU policy of open borders, and nations are acting in their own interests, not as a unity of European partnership.  There is a growing financial crisis in southern European countries, Italy especially, which threatens the existence of the Euro currency.  

The deepening divisions among European nations over their response to the coronavirus pandemic caused Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to warn that if the EU proved unable to help member states in their hour of need, it was in danger of collapse. “If we do not seize the opportunity to put new life into the European project, the risk of failure is real,” Mr Conte said.

Into this crisis, France’s President Macron is making a pitch for EU leadership, challenging Angela Merkel and Germany.  He is telling the EU that it faces a “moment of truth” as it reckons with the devastating financial fallout of the coronavirus pandemic, warning that “the populists will win” and the bloc will splinter if it is unable to unify in its response.  The French leader said there was “no choice” but to set up a fund that “could issue common debt with a common guarantee” to finance member states according to their needs rather than the size of their economies. 

Emmanuel Macron is also busy on the world stage.  He has made a call for global peace, saying he has backing for a world truce during the coronavirus pandemic and is hopeful he can secure Russian President Vladimir Putin’s support.  Speaking on French radio, Macron said he had secured the agreement of several of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council to back a call by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for a global ceasefire.  Macron said that China, the US and the UK were on board and he was optimistic about Russia.  “President Xi Jinping confirmed his agreement to me,” said Macron. “President Trump confirmed his agreement to me. Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed his agreement to me. I think President Putin will definitely agree too.”

Pope Francis gave him his backing, calling for an “immediate global ceasefire” and an end to weapons manufacturing in a special address after Easter mass on Sunday.  “This is not a time for continuing to manufacture and deal in arms, spending vast amounts of money that ought to be used to care for others and save lives,” he said.  Macron had phone meeting with Pope on April 20 at which he received Pope’s blessing and full support in his attempt to ‘reset the world economy.’

Macron also took a leading role at a virtual meeting of world leaders on the Covid 19 crisis, along with Microsoft billionaire, Bill Gates. The purpose was to find global unity and common purpose in order to defeat the virus.  Gates is funding efforts to find a coronavirus vaccine which he wants to be given to all people on earth, along with a programme for a global digital ID.  Macron told the meeting: “We will continue now to mobilise all G7 and G20 countries so they get behind this initiative. And I hope we will be able to reconcile around this joint initiative both China and the US, because this is about saying the fight against Covid-19 is a common human good and there should be no division in order to win this battle.”.  

Global leaders have pledged to accelerate cooperation on a coronavirus vaccine and to share research, treatment and medicines across the globe. But the United States did not take part in the World Health Organisation initiative, in a sign of Donald Trump’s increasing isolation on the global stage.

On this point CNN posted an article with the headline, ‘France’s Macron positioning himself as leader of the world.’  It concluded, ‘Indeed it would appear that the world could use a new leader at a time of crisis – one who is prepared to put global interests above personal or political aggrandisement.  And until the United States is prepared to offer such an individual, there may be no better to fill that void than France’s young fresh voice, Emmanuel Macron.’ https://edition.cnn.com/2020/04/15 

Emmanuel means ‘God with us’.  So is Macron the man with the plan who will take up world leadership in the coming tribulation time?  We cannot say for sure, but from my understanding it is likely that the antichrist is around on the world stage already, if we are nearing the time of the seven year tribulation time that will precede the coming of the Lord Jesus to the earth.  He should be a reasonably young man, not an aged politician in his 70s, with time and energy to implement his plan (Macron is 43).  Most likely he should emerge out of the EU, with an interest in promoting global peace and Middle East peace (the rider on the white horse of Revelation 6.2, who promises peace and safety and the ‘prince to come’ of Daniel 9.26-7 who makes the seven year covenant with Israel).  Note that Macron has also shown a desire to work for a Middle East peace settlement.  I am not saying Macron is definitely the man, and against this we have to recognise that he is unpopular amongst many in France.  But he is certainly someone to watch, especially if he does come up with a plan to hold the EU together and takes a significant place in EU leadership.

When he was inaugurated as President of France in 2017 the ceremony took place in front of the pyramid outside the Louvre in Paris.  Macron was silhouetted against the pyramid and the image of the ‘eye in the triangle’ appeared, the occult symbol of the New World Order’ on the back of the dollar, that prophecy teacher Barry Smith used to make so much about.  He strode onto the podium to the sound of the Euro anthem, not the French national anthem, the Marseillaise.  The Euro anthem is set to the music of Beethoven’s 9th, the Choral Symphony, which uses the words of the German poet Friedrich Schiller’s ‘Ode to Joy’:

English translation

Schiller was certainly not thinking of the God of the Bible in this poem, but pagan gods who inhabit a ‘heavenly place’ that uses ‘magic power’ to unite humanity.  Schiller was a noted Freemason, along with the other famous German poet of his time, Goethe.  His poem is looking to the occult realm with the aim of unifying humanity under a demonic power.  This is the spirit behind the EU anthem that Macron chose to celebrate his victory in France’s election. These responses were stronger than the responses generated by regular injection of one of the vaccines along with a powerful immune stimulant (an adjuvant). Antibody levels continued to increase over time in mice vaccinated by microneedle patch-up to 55 weeks, when the experiments ended. The researchers have now turned their technology to the COVID-19 virus, SARS CoV-2. "Testing in patients would typically require at least a year and probably longer," senior co-author of the study, dermatology professor Louis Falo said. "This particular situation is different from anything we've ever seen, so we don't know how long the clinical development process will take. The company has been described as the country's largest and most notorious patent trolling company, the ultimate patent troll, and the most hated company in tech. The website of the Bill and Melinda Gates lists multiple grants awarded to develop the "microneedle array patch" - for use in "house-to-house campaigns via administration by minimally-trained personnel." The most recent grant for $370,035 was awarded in February, 2020 to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for an MMR vaccine patch that does not require refrigeration and "enables house-to-house campaigns" via people without medical experience or training. Bill Gates has awarded much larger grants for microneedle array patch technology to companies and organizations including: * Vaxxas Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Queensland ($4.99 million in November, 2019) to develop a "microneedle array patch for measles and rubella vaccination that enables house-to-house campaigns via administration by minimally-trained personnel" Vaxxas was created in 2011 after Mark Kendall's research group at the University of Queensland commercialized the nanotechnology under the company, UniQuest. It's partnered with vaccine manufacturer Merck - a company whose drug Vioxx caused more than 27,000 deaths by heart attack before the company revealed the risks it had hidden from the public. Bill Gates, whose father was the director of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and mother worked for PPFA's funding affiliate United Way, has been noted for his population control ideology. Thermal Imaging Cameras Part Of America's 'New Normal' In Keeping People Safe From COVID-19 FROM CBS NEWS: The cameras are used to scan temperature from a safe distance, and if a fever — a common coronavirus symptom — is detected, the company could require further screening or deny the person entry altogether. "What we're seeing is there will be a new normal that will involve thermal screening as a frontline tool," Chris Bainter, director of global business development at FLIR Systems, told CBS News' Jericka Duncan. FLIR has been producing thermal imaging cameras since the SARS epidemic in 2003, when it gained widespread use in Asia. Since the outbreak, companies like Flexible Systems, Thermal Guardian, CrowdRx and many more have begun manufacturing the cameras for use in airports, healthcare centers and even apartment buildings in New York, where the pandemic has hit particularly hard. A store in Georgia, City Farmer's Market, has already set up thermal imaging cameras to scan customers as they enter the store. If a customer's temperature is above 100.4 degrees, they are given a flyer that asks them to leave to protect others, and offers that the store does their shopping for them. "The key is that application is not about an absolute temperature measurement. It's more about detecting those individuals with elevated body temperature higher than the last 10 people that had been screened," Bainter explained. Bainter, who predicted the camera could play "a critical role" in reopening the economy, dismissed any privacy concerns or worries that this specific technology could be a gateway to "surveillance culture." "If you've seen a thermal image… you can't really detect exactly who that individual is," he said. "We aren't really focused on collecting data of any sort, it's more about as a screening tool." However, he cautioned the screening tool "doesn't detect coronavirus," and called for further precautions to be taken before businesses could be deemed safe. A number of recent developments help illustrate how quickly a false Messianic figure could emerge on the earth, in both religious and secular circles.

Prepare to read some shocking quotes. But first, let me set the stage.

The events surrounding the coronavirus have demonstrated how quickly the status quo can be overturned, how dramatically the fortunes of nations can shift, and how a call for one-world cooperation can arise.

And what if there was a worldwide economic collapse, accompanied by plague and famine? Is it too farfetched to imagine that a powerful, problem solving leader could gain an international following?

I do not believe we are at that point. But I do believe that, in front of our eyes, we're seeing how quickly the table can be set, even from an entirely secular point of view.

All the more does this become feasible when we add in religious beliefs.

Jesus famously warned His disciples, saying "Be careful that no one leads you astray! For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Messiah,' and will lead many astray." (Matthew 24:4-5 TLV) He also warned that, "Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray." (Matthew 24:11, TLV)

So, from a Christian perspective, before the true Messiah (= Christ) will return in the clouds of heaven, there will be counterfeit Messiahs (= antichrists) who will deceive many.

And this leads us to the promised, shocking quotes.

In the Islamic world, the belief in the Mahdi, the hidden Imam waiting to be revealed, could easily prepare the way for a counterfeit Messianic figure.

Muslims believe that Jesus is the Messiah (although, quite plainly, they do not believe in the Jesus of the Bible). So, technically speaking, the Mahdi is not the Messiah. On the other hand, since he functions in Islamic lore as the end-time redeemer, he could be the perfect counterfeit Christ type of figure.

And here's where it gets very interesting: there are Muslim leaders today who claim to have met the Mahdi numerous times.

Writing in the Jerusalem Post on January 20, Brian Schrauger explained that the Mahdi "is Islam's messiah, the 12th of 12 Imams who are successors to Mohammed. Said to have been born in 879 CE, the Imam Mahdi is believed by Shi'a Muslims to still be alive, but hidden from mankind in 'occultation' until a time of such upheaval on the earth that only his reappearance will rescue mankind and, in fact, usher in an age of global peace; Islamic peace, that is; a kind of peace in which all mankind is living in submission to the Allah of the Koran."

He continues, "Crazy to Western ears, this messianic creed is the raison d'être for the Islamic Republic of Iran according to its founders and leaders. It is also the basis of Tehran's foreign and military policies; and it is impossible to overemphasize the Iran regime's visceral commitment to it. 

The Imam Mahdi is invoked in every public gathering, both civil and military; he is the singular inspiration for every policy, every tactic, every mission; indeed, he is nothing less than the regime's reason for its existence and, as such, its singular and unwavering motivation for the future."

And Schrauger can provide documentation for every single claim he has made.

In the words of Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamanei, "The Iranian nation, enjoys a great privilege today: the atmosphere of the country is an atmosphere of Imam Mahdi. . . ."  And, Khamanei states, "many of our great scholars have personally met with this beloved [Imam] of hearts of the admirers during his occultation; many have made a pledge to him in person; many have heard from him some heartwarming words; many have been caressed by him and many others have received his kindness, care, and love."

The Islamic Mahdi is here, he is known to many insiders, and he is about to be revealed. And remember: this article was written before Iran was smitten with COVID-19. What are the leaders thinking today?

But there's more.

A February 20 headline in Israel Today stated that, "Israeli Rabbi Says He's Already Holding Meetings With Messiah." And, "Israel's biggest rabbis are all afraid to leave the country lest they miss Messiah's coming."

The article, by Ryan Jones, cited a three-hour radio interview in which Rabbi Yaakov Zisholtz "told religious broadcaster Radio 2000 that Khamanei recently told him that he (Kanievsky) is already in direct contact with the Messiah."

Rabbi Kanievsky, now in his early 90s, is considered to be the leading authority in the ultra-Orthodox (haredi) community in Israel, and he has often spoken of the nearness of the Messiah's coming. But it seems he is saying even more today.

According to Rabbi Zisholtz, "...the process of redemption is about to start happening very quickly and at a fast pace. It is important that people remain calm and steady to act properly in the right time.

"There is a potential Messiah in every generation and there are righteous men who know precisely who it is. This is, of course, true in this generation.

"Getting the word out now that the Messiah is closer than ever is a matter of life and death. Haven't you heard of Gog and Magog? That is what is going to happen very soon. Right now, the situation is explosive more than you can possibly imagine. Everyone needs to know whether they are on the inside or if they are going to be left out."

Yes, these are the words of an ultra-Orthodox rabbi in Israel, not those of an evangelical Christian, Bible in hand, with end-time prophecies heavily underlined.

While Rabbi Zisholtz was careful to say he couldn't promise anything, he was certainly raising the bar with specific predictions and events. And again, he claimed that certain religious Jews knew exactly who the Messiah was and have even met with him.

Adding to all this was the statement of Israel's Health Minister, Yaakov Litzman, himself ultra-Orthodox, as reported in HaAretz on March 26 and with reference to COVID-19: "We are praying and hoping that the Messiah will arrive before Passover, the time of our redemption. I am sure that the Messiah will come and bring us out as God brought us out of Egypt. Soon we will go out in freedom and the Messiah will come and redeem us from all the troubles of the world."

The Messiah would be the cure to the coronavirus, and he would come (meaning, be publicly revealed, since in Jewish thought, he could already be here) by Passover.

Well, Passover ended on April 16. And, in case you missed the news, the expected Jewish Messiah did not come.

Ironically, Litzman himself contracted the virus, although he has since recovered. And for a number of reasons, including heavy criticism of his handling of the crisis, he is reportedly considering quitting.

But all this talk about the Mahdi being here, ready to be revealed, along with the traditional Jewish Messiah being here, ready to be revealed, underscores the point I have been making. 

It would not take much for a counterfeit Messianic figure to arise and deceive many.

And so, while I believe the table has not yet been set for this grand finale, it could clearly be set on very short notice.

Let us, then, keep our focus on the Second Coming of the true Christ (= Messiah). But let us not forget the warnings about that false Messiah (= antichrist) who will come first.
