Who Killed God's Prophets?

The Spirit Dwelling in the "Great City" Is Responsible

Who is responsible for killing of God's prophets?  Was it the Jews, Rome, Jezebel or Baal?  Jesus says in Revelation 18:24 says in the harlot great city “was found the blood of prophets.”

Revelation 18:24 (NIV)

“In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people,
of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

There is a strong Biblical prophetic connection between Jezebel (1 Kings 16:29-34) and the warnings Jesus gave about the “great city”, the spiritual harlot, in the book of Revelation (chapters 17 and 18).  Baal (the beast) is involved with both.  Baal’s home today, the Kaaba in Mecca, is the spiritual harlot great city in the desert wilderness as foretold in Revelation.

JEZEBEL KILLS GOD'S PROPHETS ON BEHALF OF BAAL
Jesus warns against Jezebel and false prophecy in Revelation 2:20.  In Jeremiah 23:13 we learn that Baal is the source of false prophecy given to Israelites.  Jezebel relied upon Baal for prophecy.  So did many Israelites.

Revelation 2:20 (NIV)
Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet.  By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.

Jeremiah 23:13 (NIV)
Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray.

Jezebel persuaded her husband to promote the worship of Baal in Samaria to the people of Israel.  Since Jezebel was Phoenician, she more than likely had a role that was more active than what was normal in Hebrew rule.  Jezebel required the installation of a temple and an altar for Baal, which was built in Samaria.  Baal then killed God’s prophets.

1 Kings 18:3-4 (NIV)
Ahab had summoned Obadiah, his palace administrator. (Obadiah was a devout believer in the Lord.  While Jezebel was killing off the Lord’s prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water.)

HOW DOES ALLAH OF THE QUR’AN KNOW THE PROPHETS WERE KILLED?
All Muslim scholars insist that Mohammad did not use the Bible to produce the Qur’an.  Mohammad could not read or write, and only memorized and later recited the verses given to him from the spirit—calling himself the “Angel Gabriel”—but it was really Baal released from the Abyss.  The spirit giving verses to Mohammad was quite sure the true prophets of God were killed.  Allah acknowledges the prophets were killed repeatedly in nine passages in the Qur’an.  How does the spirit know this fact so well?  Why does Allah always blame the Jews?

The answer is that the true author of the Qur’an, Baal, calling himself Allah, killed all of God’s prophets.  We know this for certain from Revelation 18:24.

Qur’an 5:70  We made a covenant with the Israelites and sent Messengers to them. Whenever a Messenger came to them with a message which did not suit their desires, they would reject some of the Messengers and kill others.

Qur’an 3:181  Allah has certainly heard the statement of those Jews who said, “Indeed, Allah is poor, while we are rich.”  We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say, "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.”

THE "GREAT CITY" IN THE DESERT WILDERNESS ON SEVEN MOUNTAINS IS MECCA

This is the same beast, from the Abyss, that kills the two witnesses (Michael and Gabriel).

Revelation 11:7 (NIV)
Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them.

Revelation 18:1-3 (NIV)
After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.  With a mighty voice he shouted:

“‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal. For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”

Revelation 18:24 (NIV)
In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people, of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

The dragon tells lies so that the beast can be worshiped.  Jesus said (Revelation 22:18-19) that words would be added and words would be taken away.  Revelation was given in 95 AD.  Just some 525 years later (610-632) the twin warnings of Jesus came to pass in the Qur'an.  The Qur'an adds the specific words that give the revelation plagues, and the Qur'an takes away the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and our mediator.  No other religious book does both.

Revelation gives a clear warning against worshiping the beast and its image.  Prayer to the Kaaba (the words added in the Qur'an) brings the plagues of Revelation, ("he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb").

Revelation 14:9-11 (ESV)
And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,  he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.  And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”

Revelation 13:4 tells us the beast spirit will be worshipped.

Revelation 13:4 (ESV)
And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?”

Put your trust in Jesus Christ.  His words are always true.

JESUS FULFILLED 351 OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES

The Old Testament, written hundreds of years before Jesus’ birth, contains at least 351 prophecies that Jesus fulfilled through His life, death and resurrection.  Mathematically speaking, the odds are staggering of anyone fulfilling a small amount of prophecy.  Fulfilling just 8 is impossible!

Daniel and Revelation warn of a worldwide demonic false religion coming after when Jesus was first on earth.  This false religion will remain in power--testing all people of the world--until the spirit of the antichrist is defeated---only by Jesus Christ.  No angel can defeat the spirit of the antichrist.

Revelation 21:3 (NIV)
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

Jesus gave us clear signs to look for at the time of his return.  We know from Revelation that Jesus will return.

The Book of Revelation is directly from Jesus Christ.  It is the most important book in the Bible for the world today.

JESUS GIVES SEVEN SURE SIGNS OF THE LAST DAYS

Jesus is returning soon.

The truth is Jesus is the Son of God, died for our sins, and is the only path to the Father and eternal life.

But those that pray to the Kaaba in Mecca are lost.

Revelation 14:11-12 (NIV)
“And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”  This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.
